put a VU app on your iPhone Home Screen.

VU apps can run from the web and feel like apps. No store account, no extra tracker layer. Open the app in Safari, add it to Home Screen, and launch it from the blue VU icon.

Install from iPhone Safari

These steps are for iPhone and iPad. Chrome and other browsers on iOS do not expose the same Home Screen install action.

    Open the VU app in Safari

    On iPhone, Add to Home Screen works from Safari. Open the VU app link directly in Safari before you start.

    Tap the Share button

    Use the Share icon in Safari toolbar. It looks like a square with an arrow coming out of the top.

    Choose Add to Home Screen

    Scroll the Share Sheet action list until you see Add to Home Screen, then tap it.

    Confirm the name and tap Add

    Safari shows the VU app icon and name. Tap Add in the top-right corner to place it on your Home Screen.

Same VU promise, just easier to open.

Adding a VU app to your Home Screen does not change the privacy model. The app still runs with the same zero-ad, zero-tracker VU stance.
